Dent Removal

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a highly skilled process in which dents and creases are removed from your car.

Working from behind the panel specially designed tools are used to slowly massage the metal back to its original condition.

The main benefits are:

it is much cheaper than taking it to a bodyshop
no filler or paint is used
we travel to you

Minor dents (golf ball to tennis ball size) and creases(1-6 inches) take on average between 30 - 45 minutes and can normally be repaired to perfection.
Major dents (football size) and creases (7-24inches) usually take between 1-2 hours and where as most can be repaired to perfection the most severe can be repaired so the untrained eye would not notice.

Bumper Scuffs

Looking to repair that awful scuff on the paint work but don’t have the time to go to the body shop and get a quote and / or lose the car for a day or two?

Don’t worry AAV can repair this for you on site in the same day for you. Step 1: Access damage to vehicle and colour code of paint and mix under coat
Step 2: Rub down damaged area with course paper
Step 3: Fill in badly damaged areas using a high performance two pack filler
Step 4: Rub down filler to a smooth finish
Step 5: Rub down around repaired area with a smooth grit paper
Step 6: Mask area in preparation to paint
Step 7: Prime area with a one pack filler primer twice
Step 8: Cure primer with an infra red heat lamp
Step 9: Rub down primed area with 1200 grit wet and dry paper
Step 10: Degrease area to be painted
Step 11: Paint area with matched under coat fading out the edges to lose any signs of change of colour
Step 12: Ccover painted area with two pack lacquer to a shiny finish
Step 13: Polish area once dried and clean any mess made by the repair up.

Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

Alloys wheels are refurbished by one of the best mobile units in the country!

We have worked in partnership since 1998 and we are able to repair up to 8 wheels per day. This can be done while we repair your bumper, valet your car or indeed just repair your wheels all in one day at your place of work or home.

Wheels removed from vehicle & cleaned of road grime
Air released & front bead broken
Using appropriate tools - Kerbing 'burrs' removed
Professional proprietary metal-based filler applied to replace damage
Sanded to recreate contours of original wheel
Wheel prepared to accept next stage coating; primer, paint & lacquer to OEM finish.

Baked to ensure hard finish.
Re-inflate tyre.
Replace wheel.
Tighten nuts/bolts to manufacturers published torque settings.
Ready to drive away.Special colours available!
